Youth Council
The GPF-USA Youth Council was formed in efforts to bring about a cultural change within the youth culture through the Global Peace Festival. We want to see change in today’s youth culture from one of selfness and materialistic gain to a culture of living for the sake of the greater good.
We believe that all humans were created equal and that our ultimate motive which compels us to live in mutual respect and altruism is based on the premise that we are “One Family under God”. Therefore, we do not recognize barriers of race, religion, ethnicity or nationality. We believe in working together for peace through service, building of strong marriages and families, and caring for and helping one another as a global community - particularly through fulfilling the 2015 Millennium Development Goals.
“This is the time for bold measures, and you are the generation to make it happen…
God is not looking for glory, God is looking for action”
-Bono
